Superior Processing & Weighing, Inc. was the successful contractor chosen to provide and install a railroad track scale for a major automobile manufacturer in Mississippi. We configured, recommended and sold a Rice Lake Weighing System Survivor Series Modular.

The project consisted of existing track demolition, excavation, installation of concrete foundations, RLWS modular track scale, fabrication and installation of bollards and safety walkways, calibration and state certification of the system. We provided several technological upgrades necessary to satisfy this highly demanding customer including: laser light display, wireless signal transmission to control room and 920I kiosk. We were called on to redesign and raise the existing railroad bed to meet railroad slope requirement in which we saved the customer from raising two highways, resulting in over a million dollars in savings. Customer also had us raise the existing switch and install a new derail.
